This Cat Creates: About

Hello, welcome to the "About Me" section! I'm Cat and my cute, little, calico furbaby here is Bug. Okay, so the picture is from August of 2016, but it's hard to get a decent picture with a cat.

Anywho, I'm really bad at writing things about me. I just never know what to write. Same with Artist Statements and those seem to change depending upon the cohesive project you were doing, or at least in my experience for college it was.

I personally do not stick with just one medium, one type of art, one type of craft, or one genre of anything really...except for reading books, or rather fiction books, I have a smaller niche when it comes to reading. But art and crafting? If I had the funds and power to, I would love to just try everything. There are just too many interesting crafts out there and subject matter.

Time to stop rambling! I did go to school for art. I graduated from Mary Baldwin College on May 19, 2013. I majored in Studio Art with emphases in Drawing and Photography. Before Mary Baldwin College, I was at Blue Ridge Community College. At Blue Ridge, I was awarded my Associate of Arts & Sciences Degree with a major in College Transfer, Certificate for the General Education curriculum, and the Career Studies Certificate in Graphic Design on August 6, 2010.

As for what I do currently, I work at a photo lab and studio. It's a very interesting job and you get to meet some nice people. It's nice to work in a place that I actually went to college for to learn something about. 😁

I do not really know how to end this or even what else I could write. This is probably a very boring read. So I'll just close out the "About Me" with some more photos. 😁 Kitties are posted in the order in which we adopted them from newest to oldest.
